Space Blankets and Cotton
28′ x 30′
Space is woven from silver cotton and stripped Space Blankets. By using the space blanket the piece evokes conversations of climate change, the border wall and space travel. The space blanket encompasses the need for protection, and humans resourcefulness. Space is translucent but also reflective so you can simultaneously see yourself and past yourself. In an attempt to acknowledge how much we get in our own way and to insight connection and compassion.
